HPH Continuing Medical Education
The Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is developed by the medical staff and administration of Humboldt Park Health. The program meets the needs of its medical staff and of the physicians in the communities served by the Hospital that Humboldt Park Health is accredited by the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. All CME activities are planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the ISMS.
We recently received a four-year reaccreditation from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), and we’re excited to continue growing our program. Currently, we host weekly CME sessions every Thursday at noon in the POB 5th-floor conference room, along with a Tumor Board on the third Friday of each month at the same time and location.
All sessions are offered in person and via Zoom, and each activity provides 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Our presenters include both hospital staff and external collaborators from Rush University and the Illinois College of Pharmacy, whose expertise helps us deliver high-quality, relevant content for our medical staff, resident physicians, and medical students. All hospital staff are welcome to attend.
We are actively seeking CME presenters, and participation is not limited to physicians. Anyone interested is encouraged to contact our CME coordinator, Leslie Mendoza, at lmendoza@hph.care for more information.
